About Christine M. Gatzke, M.Ed, CCC, CPAC/ARC

Whether you are wanting to achieve greater self-awareness and/or needing to make any difficult decisions/changes in your life, Christine works collaboratively with you to set-up goals, establish counselling plans while providing guidance within a supportive and non-judgemental environment.

Christine Gatzke is a bilingual (English/French) clinical psychotherapist providing individual, family/couple, group, career counselling/coaching, life coaching, and EAP/EFAP services in-person, telephonically, and online. Obtaining her M.Ed. in Counselling for the University of Ottawa, she received post-graduate training in Gestalt Psychotherapy via the Gestalt Institute of Ottawa.

She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and CISM/D (Critical Incident Stress Management/Debriefing). In addition, Christine is certified in working with Children and Families via the Hincks-Dellcrest Institute in Toronto. As a Canadian Certified Counsellor, Christine specializes and is trained in Post-Adoption, Adoption Reunion and Foster Care Counselling, via The Carlini Institute and Algonquin College. Christine is Canada's first Certified Dunstan Baby Language Educator.

Given Christine's mind-body-spirit approach, she is also trained in various complementary therapies, such as Emotional Freedom Techniques (formerly EFT-CC/ADV) and Holographic Reiki (Level I & II), Therapeutic Touch (Level I & II), and Integrated Energy Therapy (Level I, II, III) Practitioner. She is currently working on her Reiki Master/Instructor level. An international/national speaker, Christine has and continues to provide seminars and workshops at conferences, for federal and provincial governments, etc.

In providing optimal services to clients, Christine believes in continuing education whether through workshops or courses to provide tools and information suitable for each client, in order for him/her to obtained his/her goals.

Cancellation Policy

If appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled, Christine requires that clients provide her with 24 hours notice of all cancelled or rescheduled appointments. In the absence of this notice, clients will be charged the full session fee for the missed appointment.

Office Hours/Fees

Office Hours: Day and evening appointments are available. Fees are payable by personal cheque, cash, money order/email money transfer, any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), and/or PayPal at the beginning of each session. Receipts are provided upon payment.
